One was a real gun belt and one was a new holster.
The gun belt shipped sometime in early January.

The holster had a 4-6 week turnaround time.
At 7 weeks, I got antsy and contacted the company.
I waited and waited.
Then yesterday, I found something at my door...
a package of some sort;

Hmm...what could be in there?
Huh...just a bunch of paper??

Well, what do you know! It's a Texas Strong Side holster!
Straight from Kirkpatrick Leather in Laredo, Tx!

I like the belt slots because one is directly behind instead of
one being on each end (opposite each other).
The slant of one and the non-slant of the other creates great stability (and a cant).

It's really super tight and needs broken in with a few tricks,
like the plastic bag over your gun and into the holster one...
The belt slots were also WAY tight for trying to pass my gun belt through.
In fact, when I had to go pick up MiniMe from her boyfriend's house, I was running about ten minutes late.
I said to her; "How many girls get an extra ten minutes with their boyfriend because their mom is having new holster issues?" HA.

Your tastes in leather matches your tastes in firearms, excellent! Are you getting a matching mag holder too?
Oooh...a mag holder!! Mother's Day is coming up! THANKS for the heads up! :)
Oooo - pretty. Happy Valentines Day.
Ok, look best way to break in a new leather holster is to wrop the gun in wax paper, wax side out, insert in holster several times, and then let sit over night, the wax penetrates the leather without discoolaoration and sets the pattern of the gun... works perfectly.
Oh and we can see the last number you dialed on your cell phone.
No you can't...It's got a childproof lock. :P
Side note: phone has a lock. Gun does not. :p
Well all I can say is you must have a wonderful spouse to buy you all those neat things.
Merry belt/holster Christmatine's Day to me.
P.S. Why couldn't you have bought the Kimber, too??
:p
Are you a south paw?
Nope, not a southpaw...that's a pic in a mirror. :)
