We are experiencing global warming - It's two degrees warmer.
Argh! Sorry... the only pic we took was of this thingy we found and didn't know what it was. Turns out it was some kind of tracer. We didn't get in as much shooting time as we'd have liked, but my friend was having big trouble with her SKS.
A shooterguy happened along and we struck up a conversation with him and found out he knows a little about them. He told her what she wanted to know and she made a contact for if she ever wants to sell it. You just never know who you'll meet!
Good News/Bad News:
Bad news- I ended up forgetting my gloves (eyeroll), and my hands were so cold I never knew I broke a nail pretty far back until my hands warmed up. At least I know I can load mags fast with frozen fingers, though.
Good news- When I blew through a couple mags at some clays we tossed up on the berm, the shooterguy said, "If it ever comes to civil unrest, I want you for a neighbor". COOLIO! :D

Not thinking that's a tracer bullet. It appears to be a muzzleloader slug.I have been wrong before tho.
Yeah, after investigating we found out that guy was pretty well full of crap.
