Sunday shootin' - Revisited

I've been liking the range on Sundays around 2pm. Leagues show up after 5pm, so usually no one is there and I've got the place to myself.
Today was cooler and breezy at times. A really nice day for getting out there.
I set up that neat little Jammit Stand and stapled some very expensive targets to it.
I happen to notice something that made sense in retrospect...
The last time MiniMe shot my .45 she got frustrated because she couldn't see where the shots were landing...One guess what that is ^.
Yeah, that's about the size a .45 makes ^.
I was only planning on shooting the .22A today, so I packed it up with some ammo in this nifty little laptop bag... totally doesn't scream "GUN HERE!!" Nice.

I usually stand about 30-35 feet or so away...at least I think so. I'm not really a good judge of distance. You decide.

Yesterday, I told RifleSmithy from RFC that I'd go shooting for him since he couldn't go just yet...I even did some double taps in his honor.

While shooting at my other very expensive target, I had a beast in my sights no less than THREE TIMES...and I missed every time I took the shot. I think he got tired of being shot at and ended up leaving in a huff.
Doesn't matter...I don't know how to mount a bumble bee trophy anyhow.

All in all...good day shootin'.

*special thanks to the hubster for taking most of the photos. :)

Brilliant, I'm thinkin' that hat catches all the brass so you don't have to bend down and pick it up ;-)

Scaling the photo, 30-35' looks about right. if you're 9 ft. tall!
(I do feel better about my groups, now that I know you're shooting from about 16' away.)

Looks like about 12 feet to me. ;)

It's actually only 2ft and 3in. Those distorted camera lenses are the shiznit!! I could fricken touch the target with the muzzle when I really leaned into it.
And you should see what I can do with a shotgun!!
;)

That would make her about 4' tall.

"It's actually only 2ft and 3in. "
That would make you about 9" tall!
Jeez, learn how to use a .......
measuring device.

Like a tape measure? Or do you mean a yardstick?

OK, measured it out when I went back...
It's just shy of 19 feet.
Close guess with 16! You're either a very good guesser, or you are intimately familiar with measuring devices. :p
