Misinformation and Race Baiting

First the original video in which a semi-auto (AR 15) is called a "machine gun".
Folks, there's nothing fully automatic about an AR.
Let's also point out that the nomenclature "assault weapon" is completely wrong.
It's just like the word "racism"...it's tossed about, but no one accurately defines what it is.

Next, the wonderful job of editing out the black guy, making the event seem racially motivated (cutting to the picture of a white guy) and making the statement: "here you have a man of color in the presidency and white people showing up with guns strapped on them."
Yeah...that's not race baiting, MSNBC. Losers.

Machine gun???
Someone needs an education.

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/assault

Assault can be used as a verb, transitive verb, or noun.

To phrase it correctly, it would have to be written/reported as a 'rifle assault'. Same as 'vehicular assault'.

When was the last time you heard/read of an 'assault' vehicle?

"Hey Bubba, what kinda assault vehicle you drivin this week"?

It's NEVER the vehicles fault. Always the driver.

I guess firearms have different rules when it comes to grammar and usage?

Racist: anyone winning an argument with a liberal.

The utter ignorance of firearms displayed by major-media "reporters" never ceases to amaze me. If you could fabricate armor from such ignorance, you'd make a fortune: it appears to be totally inpenetrable. I have volunteered several times to work as an informed "gun-writer" for a few outlets; no takers yet :-(

Also, I was accused of being a racist at a local tea-party event by a black woman in an SEIU t-shirt. I responded "Well, I'd have voted for Condolezza Rice, had she run, and BOTH her parents were black !!"

(WV: hoofar---too far already, I'd say...)
