Ouch no more

This is one of my favorite cover shirts. I love denim and I like girly embroidered things.
I love how each little square funky button is a different color, but how they all match a flower.
And the flowers… I like the flat ones
But I love the ones that are 3D and fanned out and stand away from the denim.
The only thing that I do NOT like about this shirt, is that no matter what I wear it over, it hurts.
It hurts because every one of those buttons is sewn on with monofilament.
For the less hobby/crafty among you, that means “fishing line”.(The color here isn't really right, but I had to mess with the contrast just to get the line to show up in the photo)
Every single button is sewn on with fishing line which means the back side is a lumpy hard plastic knot with sharp curly cues that poke through everything else you’re wearing
And makes you feel like somewhere, someone has a voodoo doll of you and they’re sticking the crap out of you with pins.

Ouch.
I’d decided I’d had enough today, so I ripped every single button off and sewed them all back on with regular “normal people” thread.

This is all the crap that came from the buttons:
