Georgia on my mind…and Florida, too.

I didn’t blog about this when I thought about it…but there’s no time like the present.
Georgia and Florida expanded state gun laws. People can now bring guns to work, so long as they leave them in their parked cars. That brings the list of similarly legislated “take your guns to work here” states to:
Alaska
Kansas
Minnesota
Kentucky
Louisiana
Mississippi
Georgia
Florida
Tim Beardon, a State Representative who wrote Georgia's new gun law, said “It's about time that we started standing up for the innocent, law-abiding citizens instead of making excuses for the criminals all the time”.
RIGHT ON!!

Minnesota has made huge strides in gun laws in the last few years. The state use to hate guns now they are starting to allow people to carry. I grew up there and now when I return the general feeling has changed from "why do you need a handgun" to "as long as they have it legally I don't care".
