That's what I walked in to buy. Nothing more, nothing less.
As I was browsing near the counter, I heard a soft whisper...
"Annie....it's me....Annie....please look up...."
I looked up.
"No." I said. "I'm only here for a speedloader and some snap caps."
The voice grew sad and I detected a hint of a sob starting.
Now I'm not heartless. Far from it.
My family happens to be made up of strays and mutts and individuals that society tends to pass by...but we love them. We take them in. We cherish them. And they return our love and affection by becoming loyal and useful members of the family.
I couldn't turn away.
"Please" said the voice.
"Yes", I answered.
Then we both came home.

:-D
It was listed at $325.
But I got it for $265 plus some shot shells and a barrel cleaning before I left.
It's Winchester's 1300 (Ranger).
I'm going to go shoot it tomorrow! :-D
Range report, of course to follow, I would assume. Good deal too.
Woohoo! And at a bargain price to boot!
Smilin ear to ear ! Gratzi!!
Had an earlier version (and much shorter) a Model 1200.It was also stamped RCS 246 (Ramsey County Sherrif Squad 246). Good dependable gun and a Winchester - Excellent lineage. Fast cycling - I believe it was called Speed Pump .Just the thing for those fast follow up shots ...
Full report required.
I CAN HAS SHOTGUN?

Tsk, Tsk. Should have drank some of the Mossberg 500 kool-aid!
