So MiniMe was tossing the clays for me.
She used one of these deals:

I blamed it on the way she threw them.
Hey...you gotta do what you gotta do!
Honestly, it's a really sweet gun...too bad the shooter sucks!!
I should have kept up with Trap from last year. Blah.
Oh well...it's not too late to jump back in.
I didn't start finding my zone until near the end. Plus some guy drove up and I got really self conscious about it. So I finished off the last few rounds and we packed up and picked up the brass.
I will be back...oh yes...I will...

I freakin' hate those hand throwers! That's what I have and it took us about 4 or 5 outings with it before we finally got the hang of it and each time we use it we still need a few practice throws to get back into the "swing" of it.
What kind of choke has it got in it? Bbl lenght? Sights? Etc? Must have details! Does this mean you've got some bird hunting coming up in the fall?
BTW, check out the good news over on my thing. Woo-hoo! Score one for the good guys.
I saw your news on a couple different sites today! YAY YOU!!
The choke is a mod choke and the vented ribs are on a pretty 28" barrel that end with a shiny copper bead. :-D
I'd only hunt birds if somebody else was going to eat them. Not that I eat the clay ones that I hit...:p
Nice outfit. Definitely more suited to the clay birds than feathery ones in the woods. One of my Mossy 500s usually has a 28" vented rib bbl on it and it's HEAVY and sucks to carry though the woods (especially with another 3 inches of choke poking out of it!) That's a lot of steel.
Gerry from Valpo will not only hunt those birds with you (he will even bring the dogs), he will be happy to take them home and eat them. His grilled pheasant satay is to die for. Too bad you are a vegan you are missing out on that. It is OK though, more for me. Seriously, you should drop Gerry a line.
New post with details on the gun plz!
Dan, this will be a TON easier if you just tell me what you want to know!! :p
:-D
I have never been good at skeet or trap. I'm good with a shotgun, but I can't track those stupid things in the air.
No wonder...
You're not supposed to track them, you're suppose to lead them.
:p
:-D
