Taking pictures captures a moment in time. Everybody does it. We all love to pass around our vacation pictures or our kids’ baby pictures or just something really cool we might have done and happened to snap the button at just the right moment.
Once I remember finding a roll of 110 film and not knowing how old it was (or what was on it) I took it to be developed. There were some pictures of our first house, the cat, and my first “Thanksgiving dinner” table all decorated and sporting all the trimmings.
Another time, when I turned in a few different rolls of 35mm film, I could have sworn that I sent in three but only got two back. I don’t know what would have been on that roll, but it’s memories that we’ll never have to look back on.
That leads to this entry. What do you do if you find someone else’s film? Or their whole camera, for that matter? How about this:

That was quite interesting. You may not have realized it but by posting it on your blog, you have opened up another opportunity for the photos to find their way home.
