Although he died in a plane crash a year before I was born, I've always been drawn to the music of Otis Redding.
About 15 years ago, I really liked a song the Black Crows did called "Hard to Handle" and probably drove JL crazy playing it ALL the time.
I didn't even know it was a Redding song until sometime last week. I don't know how I ever missed it. Redding's version was released posthumously as a single when I was born.

Random factoid: I am writing this about two miles from where his plane went down into the drink here in Madison.
