Good choices and if anyone is going to visit Shipshewana they might as well stop at Tiffanies in Topeka, Indiana.
I did not find a website for them but here is the address.
414 E Lake St
Topeka, IN 46571
If you not Vegan they have some of the best country made food and great pie.
I loved the blog and links and have been to many of them when I was a hoosier myself. They are great places to visit in person if you can. (As I'ved said before, I moved to NY. state 6 years ago.) I keep up with most things "INDIANA" in most of the forums and stuff and find yours entertaining and amusing. I'm from southern Ind. almost KY but do not claim any Kentucky connections at all. I read your blog about the sleepover weekend with "friend down the street" and couldn't agree more. But it makes me wonder if my own girls(I got two) were ever the free ones staying at some one's house over night and felt this freedom. MAN I HOPE NOT.
Oh well, any ways, keep up the good work and keep plinkin'
572user,
I don't know ANY southern Hoosiers that claim Kentucky! LOL
As far as your kids, I think it's safe to assume that if you are worried about it...then they probably were NOT "those kids". I think the ones that are "those kids" are turned out by parents who don't really give a rip and never teach any social graces. You know what I'm talking about if you ever told your girls, "now say thank you." Etc.
What? What about Indiana Beach?

It's Indiana's anwser to the Wisconsin Dells.
And both are answers to a question nobody asked.
