I went down to SmallTown, USA's gun store and handled a couple CZ's and looked over the wood, etc. All felt slightly different in hand, but they all had their own charm and "feel good" qualities.
The Lux has to be ordered in, so it'll be a little bit of a wait. It won't seem quite so long, though because I'll be out of town for part of the time. I think I need to shop for accessories and necessities; like more ammo, a carrying case, its own cleaning stuff (handgun stuff is a bit short!), etc. What a fun ride, and I don't even have it in my grubby little paws yet! I'm really excited about it!
Don't look for a sling or a scope or any bench rest paraphernalia (at least not any time soon) - I've been mostly a hand gun girl. And when I do shoot a rifle, I love "off hand" and "open sights"! I might not be opposed to ghost rings though! I don't know, because I've never tried them. From what I've read, I like the concept. I guess it's one of those things you either love or hate. We'll see...
The thought of getting to the range with this CZ is making me sweat!
