I opened a brick of Remington Thunderbolts and pulled out a little box of 50.
I ran the target out to about 40 ft where the light is really good.
Now normally, I am the only (and I mean ONLY) one shooting. I've never had to contend with noise from other shooters or brass plinking me, etc. But today I finally talked JL into going with me. Not only was I testing the CZ for what it would do with the same ammo that gives the S&W .22A fits, but it was also a test for *me* to see how I would do with the added distractions. JL & I were supposed to go Saturday, but the range closed unexpectedly due to a fishing emergency. So there we were; lane 5 and lane 4... and he starts shooting the pistol which didn't make me flinch as much as I thought it would. This is good, because I shoot off hand/open sights. I load the five round mag, lever the safety off, and work the bolt action, sight in and pull the trigger. I do this consecutively until the box of 50 is empty before I dare call the target back to sheepishly look at it.
OH!
MY!
GOD!
If it were legal to take a second spouse and marry a gun,
I think I would!

Woohoo! That babe can shoot -- both of them! Looks like one ragged inch-wide hole with a couple of strays. Nudge that sight a hair left and you're right on the money, eh?
It was soooo much fun!!
:-D
