Backlash?

There have been a rash of shootings near and police are hesitant to say if they are connected. I have my own theory. If you remember this post about a huge pot bust, I think that’s where this can all be traced back to. Earlier this week this shooting happened, and then this one all in the span of a day. Then this morning this man was shot. My opinion is that now the two rival gangs in the city are warring for turf.
I think the D-boys drew first blood and then the Knights of Destruction retaliated. Ever since then, I think it’s been a back and forth onslaught of reprisal killings. I don’t think the cops had much of a clue how big nor how active these gangs were until their biggest supplier was taken out of the equation. All I know is that I won’t be venturing where I was planning to go to pick up something I needed any time soon! And when I do finally decide I don’t want to wait it out any longer, I’ll go. But I won’t go unguarded or helpless.

Oh, and duh. Our local paper, 100's or 1,000 miles away, mentioned the gangs, retaliation, etc.

Thanks for the heads up with that first comment.
Can you tell if your paper was pulling stats and info from the Journal Gazette or the News Sentinel? One is a little more bubble gum / candy coated than the other but it seems to get more readership.

AP probably, not from local papers. AP would get from one or both of your papers, though.
Oh, and I clicked on the stupid link, because it said, "click here." And I do what I'm told. Had a helluva time getting it to shut down.

Geez...sorry about that.
In the future, don't click links from stuff like that!!
Hope that helps.
:p
Seriously, if you have AdAware or anything else like that...go run it.
