I suppose it sounds weird, but I read a question somewhere that asked "do you name your guns?" Actually, there are two of mine that I did! The 1911 has been MzKimber since day one, but the another one was slower coming. My daily carry piece. My equalizer. My power leveler. It gives me the feeling of great liberation and safety. I called her Liberty. Now why I say "her" is a complete mystery to me!

Hey! That's my gun! I don't know why, but when you mentioned you had the S&W I pictured the hammerless 642. But, as it turns out, we have twin sisters! Mine is also the 637 model. Hmmm, I don't really have names for my girls, but this one might have to get a moniker that goes along as the twin of Liberty.

Liberty ...why do you say 'her' ? Only look to the East ...Ellis Island . Yup ! Our *Lady* Liberty !! So 'her' is very fitting .
