Best. Day. EVAR.
I got to shadow different people doing a little bit of everything from sales to smithing. It was way too much fun! One of the best parts was calling people waiting on deliveries or repairs and tell them their stuff was ready to come pick up. I felt like the gun fairy granting wishes.
I was talking about wanting to bring in my Winchester and put it on consignment...a guy wanted to buy it sight unseen for close to what I was thinkin' for it...
When I got home tonight, I picked up MiniMe and took her back with me so I could drop off the Winchester, fill out some papers for it, and let her look around and meet some of the guys... and then I let her in on the second-best part; Two doors down - - - DONUT SHOP!
So we walked over there and had celebratory donuts before heading home.
I swear to Bob I wanted to pitch a tent and stay...

Good News! Glad that you have stepped out of the drudgery stew and slipped in a puddle of the AWESOME sauce! Job satisfaction does make the world seem a much brighter place - reading a first hand account makes me happy and hopeful.
Good for you, Annie. I am so happy for you. I know you will do well at this. Your customers will be the big winners.......
Thanks peeps
So some business. If I wanted a nice Marlin 39A and your place had one. Can I get details and pix on some site? Or by email? Got my FFL guy on this end---just want trustworthy folks on the selling end. (You have fulfilled that requirement.)
Road trip! :)
When I grow up, I want a job like that.
John, I don't know if I have your email address saved. Either PM it to me or email me something I can reply to and save it in my contacts.
RW, I'll send you a link. :)
Don't swear to me Annie.
