What Is This?

When we bought this house, these shrubby things were out in front in some mixed landscaping. We ended up not liking them there after several years and put them in the back yard in a corner... but they never ever EVER had little berry thingies on them before now. What are they? Are they yew berries? Because those are poisonous...and I don't remember exactly what they look like, but I *think* it was this:

No, no, no...dingleberries are cow poop that gets stuck in their tail hairs and just hangs there! Those do NOT grow on bushes! :p
And no, I didn't get any emails from you in quite some time.
I'll keep an eye on it in case it's just hung up in cyber space, though.
I'm currently working every weekend, but shortly that will switch to every other...

Those plants kinda look like the ones from the movie "invasion of the body snatchers". The latter version of that movie with Donald Sutherland was filmed in my local area and used the building that I use to work in. The building used looked like Godzilla's bed pan. It was actually the community's city hall :).....TD
