Shopping list

So the gun show is coming up Saturday and I've got my list handy.
Actually, I can cross off a couple things that were on there.
I scored a brass tumbler online from a guy that lives about 15 minutes from the show, so when I get close, I'll call him to let him know I'm near. We'll trade tumbler for cash in the show's parking lot (gun show loophole? HA! See what I did right there?) and that way there's no "shipping" cost. Sweet.

Calipers were on my list, but Jay found me a great deal at MidwayUSA.com. I ordered them Friday and according to the UPS tracking, they arrived in Indianapolis yesterday from MO, and departed this morning. I'll likely have them today.

I also had a loading board on my list, but he said I can have an old one of his.

Other than that...
1. primer catcher for the press
2. ammo boxes
3. scales (so I can give John's back)
4. Lyman book (so I can give Jay's back)
5. primers
6. powder
7. Bullets

What else?

I usually set a medium height garbage can under the press as I'm depriming and let the primers drop into it.It isn't fool-proof but works well enough. If needed set that fancy bench up over a sheet/tarp (ala shooting range brass saver) and that should catch any misses.

So far, I've just been sticking a cardboard box under that one leg of the bench.
It's not enough to make it wobble and it does catch most.
Just a couple have missed or bounced out.
The catcher is just a matter of convenience.
And it's a reason to shop...which I normally do NOT dig. But shopping for gun stuff is...DIFFERENT.

Yes, gun and gun accessory shopping is TOTALLY different, that is true.

Don't forget .223 brass ;)

It's not a real gun show shopping trip unless you buy something tactiCOOL that you don't really need from a thirtysomething long-haired freaky dude who still subscribes to American Ninja Magazine.

What else? Tumbler media, case lube, and a de-burring tool.

But hey: I haven't even got a press yet.

How was the jerky at the show?

OK, no jerky...but I've got the other stuff!:p
And a cool Molon Labe t-shirt too! (Had to because Professor Bernardo De La Paz said so. Sorta.)
