On my way...to AWESOMENESS!

I opened up the box with all the pieces in it that would eventually make my reloading bench.
It's a Black & Decker Workmate.
I have yet to attach the pieces of plywood and board that will make the table-top surface, but that will be before the weekend is out.
Look what I did!

I called a store today who gave me an awesome deal on a set of RCBS carbide dies for .45ACP, I'll be picking them up on Saturday!

I spent some time with the beam scales and calibrated them, so now I know how!
And when the doorbell rang earlier, there was an awesome package from my net friend Rhody...
I opened it to find some very important Shoot N' C stickers for those expensive designer targets I make...

And under the stickers, there were zillions of shiny tumbled brass that smelled like sawdust...a smell I really LIKE!
(OK, maybe not "zillions", but they WERE shiny and we all know how I like SHINY! :)

"And here we have a tasteful little side table, with some nice homey decorative flair on top... completely obscured by Annie's Reloading Bench of Awesomeness."

Heh...that's how I roll. :p
Thanks for drawing attention to that table, though. I forgot that when you click on a pic for embiggenation, you can really see everything...
dying plant, photograph, dust...

...and the *need* for a universal decapping die (or for the uninitiated another reloading step ;) )

I think for now, I'd rather have it be an extra step. Just so that I can keep each function compartmentalized in my own head.
I'm weird like that... :p

I'll be picking up my dies on Saturday. Woot!

If you want the extra step...you need the decap die. It's a die that doesn't resize the case *only* decaps. It also keeps the dirty priming compound from the spent primer away from your resize die.

Usually they can be used on all cases in the .22-.45 calibers. Fairly inexpensive @ $8-18.00 also. To k.i.s.s. it isn't required.
