The Month in Peace.

Islam. The “Religion of Peace”.

I’ve taken the time to compile just a few peaceful moments from the onslaught of happenings around the world each day so that you can enjoy a moment of the calm that must surely lie deep in the hearts of the most devout Muslims.
You can thank me later.

10/1 in Somalia; Islamists shell a vegetable market, killing civilians.

10/2 in Russia, Muslim gunmen kill a police officer in a drive-by while in Afghanistan, Taliban extremists attack a group of trucks, killing drivers.

10/3 in Pakistan, a group of Hindu men are abducted and murdered while a woman is beheaded in Iraq. Not to be outdone in Afghanistan, a peaceful Muslim masqueraded as a local soldier and murdered two American servicemen in their sleep.

10/4 a series of Jihad truck bombings killed drivers in Iraq while a woman was murdered in an “honor killing” not far away. In India, peaceful Muslim cops kill a Hindu boy for marrying a Muslim girl.

10/5 a 10-year-old boy is taken out by a bomb hidden in a garbage can in Iraq while just down the road, a half-dozen funeral mourners are blown to bits by a suicide bomber. Shortly after the funeral bombing, the tortured body of a Christian businessman is discovered after having been kidnapped by peaceful Muslim members.

10/6 in Afghanistan, a peaceful rocket aimed at a passenger bus, kills riders while a similar peaceful bus-bomb in Iraq explodes, too.

10/7 in Thailand, four civilians are killed in separate peaceful bombings while back in Afghanistan, bombers peacefully slay 4 cops.

10/8 in Kabul, Afghanistan, a suicide bomber detonates outside the Indian embassy, ending the lives of seventeen innocents while a similar peaceful explosion outside a shop in Iraq killed several shoppers.

10/9 in Somalia there were several peaceful shootouts resulting in many infidel deaths while hundreds are injured or burned to death from a suicide car bomber in a shopping plaza.

10/10 in Pakistan Muslims peacefully stormed a security headquarters, killing six officers in the siege taking a few hostages.

10/11 a hospital in Iraq is bombed while in Thailand a man drinking tea in a tea shop is gunned down in the name of peace…as was a cattle rancher in Thailand.

10/12 in the town of Abu Khamis, Iraq, the mayor was peacefully targeted, but they missed and took out his two sons.

10/13 in Iraq, an ambassador of peace detonates himself in a cafe, killing other patrons while another emissary in Afghanistan kills some American soldiers in the name of Allah (the god of peace?)

10/14 in Pakistan, a car peacefully plows into a crowd killing a dozen people when it blows up.

10/15 in Pakistan again, a little kid about 6 years old is blown apart by a remote-controlled car bomb along a city street.

10/16 in Iraq, a suicide bomber at a yell's 'Allah Akbar', then opens up with a machine-gun before detonating, leaving at least fifteen dead in the peaceful massacre.

10/17 in Somalia, a policeman is gunned down in an Islamist drive-by while a roadside bomb in Iraq killed members of a security detail.

10/18 in Iran, a peaceful demonstrator detonates in a gymnasium, slaughtering more than 50 people.

10/19 in Somalia a Christian woman is peacefully murdered inside her home for refusing to wear a veil.

10/20 in Pakistan, two suicide bombers attack a women's university peacefully blowing up several students and faculty.

10/21 over in the Philippines, a bomb is peacefully planted near a water pipe which kills an inspector.

10/22 in Somalia, peaceful Islamists mortar an airport, killing several.

10/23 in Iraq, more peaceful Islamists bomb a family in their vehicle, killing them.

10/24 in Pakistan, a bomb peacefully detonates on a minibus killing people in a wedding party.

10/25 in Iraq, car bombs take out a couple hundred people standing near or in government buildings. The dead include a bunch of kids at a day care center. It was a good day for peace.

10/26 in Thailand, dedicated peaceful Muslims gun down two Buddhist civilians looking for food.

10/27 in Pakistan, they attacked a police post, peacefully killing some cops.

10/28 in Afghanistan, there was a peaceful attack when Muslims peacefully forced their way into a UN guesthouse, murdering nine people, including six international workers…while here at home police are investigating the assault of a Detroit News photographer outside a mosque whose leader was killed during a shootout with FBI agents Wednesday. He’d told an informant if the FBI came to get him: "I'll just strap a bomb on and blow up everybody."

10/29 A New York woman allegedly tried to slit her husband's throat because she said he wasn't the devout Muslim she thought she married five months ago. He was making her do horrible non-peaceful things (like eating pork, wearing short clothing and makeup…)

Today (10/30), I haven’t skimmed international news yet…but the day is young. I’m sure peace will break out in several places before long.

Where is GeminiGlocker when you need him?

Thing is... GeminiGlocker and Huggy BOTH knew this would eventually happen. And nobody listened because it's not "politically correct".

Right on, madame.

But we're to believe that Islam isn't violent.

While I am unsure as to your religious views (you might not appreciate what he says about religion generally-speaking), Sam Harris has expounded upon the dangers of Islam for longer than most people I know, and for the right reasons...

Hopefully you find this essay as informative as I did.

While I happen to agree with him on more issues than just this one, this is at least one stance with which I think you'll wholeheartedly agree.
