September 11

9/11
I refuse to ever call it "national day of service", because it's not.
It's 9/11. Day of horrific loss of life. Attacked on our own American soil.
"Day of service" sounds like something less than what it really is. The connotation takes something away...something that needs to be there. It just feels wrong. So I won't do it. Here's what I will be doing, though...

Since my 4-year carry permit is now less than 180 days away from expiring, I'm eligible to reapply for either type in my state.
I've chosen 9/11 as the day to apply for my lifetime permanent permit.

I can't think of a more appropriate American statement to make.
What will you be doing?

Good for you lady, Good for you

What amazes me as we honor those who died on 9/11, is that we have a President named Barack Hussein Obama. That runs around kissing muslim ass every chance he gets.

60% of americans have the memory of a freaking goldfish.

I wish we had that lifetime carry permit thing here
