The gist of it is, an angry woman stormed into a Houston business with a mock gun (mock??) and a very real bow and arrow. She shot an employee with the arrow and ran down a hallway.
Here's the money quote:
Witnesses said other employees of the business pulled out their own pistols.
Oh yes they did. Licensed to carry concealed...all of them.
Nice.
Anyway, back to the story... the chick with the bow and arrow gets the "mock" gun knocked away from her (I'm sorry, I'm still hung up on that..."mock"??)and while she's standing there obviously looking down a few barrels from the business ends, she has the cajones to threaten to shoot these people with arrows. Not the sharpest crayon in the box, huh?
So here's the quote from the article about how that went down:
when she allegedly threatened to shoot them with another arrow, they fired a couple shots at her.
One witness (I don't know if it was one of the armed employees or not) calls the cops and tells them what is going on.
The cops show up and surround the area and people say they heard a half dozen shots fired by police, although it was unclear why. She was taken to a hospital and so was the arrow shot man. They are both fine and she has been charged with Aggravated Assault and Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer.
I'm kind of wondering why she wasn't charged with attempted murder (of the guy she bow shot).

I just wonder what she was so upset about? Shes Lucky she walked out of there alive, another plus for Conceled carry. No place like the Lone Star State.
Oh crap, that's maybe 10 minutes away from where I live. Yee haw Texas.
Really!
What's the news buzz there? Do they know why the woman flipped out in the first place?
No buzz per se. We usually don't make to much of a news story when evolution does what it does best; weeding out the stupid cows from the herd. It was a brief blip on the news like when the guy tried to rob a gun store with a knife. Didn't turn out well at all for him either.
Mind you, if y'all (yes we actually use y'all) haven't realized, Texas is a wee bit different from the never-been-an-independent-nation and no Alamo in your neighborhood states. I heard a comic once say that while some states are trying to stop the death penalty, we're trying to install an express lane.
Kinda fitting.
Fair enough.
But don't tell me about "y'all". It's a word I know pretty well. :p
By the way, Scott... send me your email addy through RFC. I have a couple photos I wanted to send you and ask about them.
Ask and ye shall receive. Well, email addresses at least. ha ha.
See I told ya Jetty, Texas is unique...lol...r yall gonna move here?
Maybe some day! The husband unit used to live there for quite some years...he really likes it!
