First Black President

...should have been THIS guy (Alan Keyes).

Maybe he's just too black. That's racist.

Seriously? He's run for president 3 or 4 times and has been a nominee for the U.S. Senate about as many.
He was some sort of economic ambassador to the United Nations during Reagan's administration and served as Assistant Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs.
His name has been tossed around quite a bit over the years, but really...who wants a fiscally responsible leader with strong moral & ethical guidelines? That's racist!

Unfortunately Mr. Keyes has earned the reputation as a political gadfly. Running for Senate in Illinois did him in. Not that he is wrong or has bad ideas, he's now considered goofy.

Between you and me and the fence post, I'll take "goofy" over "Gestapo" any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
