But it's not about color, right?
I had to go to bed before my state was called. It was a tight race in my state, which is notoriously red. I woke up this morning in a blue state.
I looked at a few of the headlines on the news pages and the predominant theme was “America’s first black president”…but it’s never been about race, right?
Well…the media has their darling, but here’s another little prediction for them; “the honeymoon will wear off after a few months in office”. It will be right around the time when they realize that the citizens of this country will still have to pay their own mortgages and their gas won’t be free.
Not even with Obamanomics.
The question isn't "who is John Galt?" it's "where is he?"

I'll be on the lookout for him. I'd rather sweep floors in Galt's Glutch than get welfare in Obama "Utopia."
If I'd declared that race was an issue (or even, THE issue) for me, and therefore I was voting for a White man for president, I'd (quite rightly) be called a racist.
Blacks, apparently, are different (but equal, right?)
I try to consider all factors, and not consider race as important to my opinion of others. That is damned difficult when someone stands in front of a camera and declares that s/he's not really sure what Obama stands for, but "it's time we had a Black man in the White House".
And it's even harder to maintain that neutrality when no-one else of the Black race seems to find a problem with that.
Hello, fellow blue stater!
Ouch, Dan!! Just...OUCH!
Been ouchie for me for a very long time. With no end in sight.
I live in Texas. Even though I live in the lie-beral Hell-Hole of Austin, the state of Texas came through for Republicans as always. McCain took Texas by double digits!!!! We are still about as red of a state as you can get!!!!!
And, more importantly, we returned our Republican Senator to Congress.
Can we secede from the union now before Mr. 0-bama turns it into a big hopeless version of of that Socialist Paradise of Cuba?!?!?!?!?!?
