I can’t hear the name without thinking “Hootie and the Blowfish”.I love that he’s in the top released singles of country music today.
Don’t get me wrong, generally speaking I’m definitely stuck in the 80’s with Journey and Aerosmith, and many hair bands and ballads to boot… but I just get these times where I’ll get in a mood and get stuck in country for awhile. That’s kind of where I am now...at least for a little bit.
Darius Rucker is the best of both worlds…don’t think I didn’t think about that.

I'm generally not a big fan of country either(with certain exceptions), so although I'd heard that song---and liked it---I never realized Darius Rucker sang it! Pretty cool.
I also like those old Mercury Cougars. One of these days...heh.
