Why does Sarah tick off the feminists? Because she exposes them so easily. Merely by being who she is, Sarah Palin lays utterly bare their malicious hypocrisy. They wax bitchy about every aspect of her appearance, experiences, and achievements precisely because she has, in fact, achieved more in two or three years of actual service than all of them put together will achieve, ever. Have you seen the Sarah Bernhard rant? Makes me want to disinfect my brain, just thinking of it. (Well, SB usually has that effect on me anyway.)
While I'm aware that most women aren't this way, I'm afraid it doesn't place the opposite sex in a very flattering light.
Breda has a great post about this, too, complete with a commenter who echoes my view: this sort of bitchiness is one reason I'm still single.
