A couple months ago, I was lucky enough to get to spend some time trying out some Rock River Arms rifles. A Varmint type and a Tactical CAR specifically. These rifles are way most coolio in their own right, but the icing on the cake was the type of optical enhancement used on them.
They were outfitted with EOTech sights that absolutely rah-hah-hawked!

Here’s what it looks like inside one type. Ignore the horrendous trigger control of the person making the video. I’d call the number at the end of the video and chastise them, but I don’t know how to say “Keep your booger hook off the bang switch” in French.
Here’s another inside look. I like how the design allows room for your flip up irons. Just incredible engineering work there...
Someday when my cash flow is going in the right direction, I intend to own a Rock River Arms AR15. Probably one of the Tactical line, because I liked that one best. When I do, I’ll completely have the most updated version of holographic sights available, because let's face it...it would be plain wrong not to do so. If you haven’t ever shot an AR15 or you haven’t ever used a holographic sight, I STRONGLY encourage you to seek it out and do so! Even if you aren’t a shooter, you will absolutely be impressed and I’d be willing to bet you’d want to do it again. And we all know I’m not the betting kind. ;-)

Need and want. Been lookin' at AR's too, will have to try the Rock River on for size. It would fit me personally since I grew up on the shores of the Rock River anyway.
Dan, if you have the time and initiative, you can pick up a $900 RRA for about $500 bucks in kit form. The only thing is, you'd have to order a lower receiver for it. They don't include that in order to make it mail-order compliant.
Gunshop or ffa for the lower I would assume? Linky please, I am sorta interested.

Search function is top left. Search "lower receiver" and you'll see a bunch of options from the bare minimum to the whole shebang.
If you're ordering the "complete" kit from someplace like RRA, then you'll only need the minimal one that'll be somewhere in the $100 bucks neighborhood.

I think we will have several different kinds of evil black rifles at gunstock this weekend, I will certianly let you know what I end up doing.
