Wonderful! And not to mention that CFLs don't work well in low temps (come on slow and stay dim), so not the best light for garages or outdoor lights. Nor are they well suited in locations where you want to snap on the lamp, get what you came for, then snap it back off. But most of all, as the Gentlemen from Texas says, you'd think they could come up with something more substantive as a solution to the energy problem.
We need more Congressional representatives to find the courage to speak the truth. One way they can really help do that is not to create stupid laws, then go back, and discuss them again.
