4th Amendment Violation - for the children...

This story from Minnesota is all over the net and news.
Police say they entered this homeowner's house at 3AM because his door was "ajar" and they wanted to alert him.
They woke him up by pounding on his bedroom wall and shining flashlights in his face to tell him about his opened door out of concern for the children in the home.
Well that's their story anyhow.
I have an idea...let's let the homeowner speak for himself:

Ah yes ! Mn Nice all upfront and personal- I bet the two assailants that stabbed the other Burnsville man and left him to burn were in uniform ...what can I say ? I am a conspiracy theorist (and good chance I *am* correct in this theory)stranger things have happened.

There may be nothing that ENRAGES me more than being awakened by a flashlight in my face (as some of my friends have discovered to their lasting discomfort.)
And since I sleep in close proximity to a loaded pistol, there is every chance that I would awaken to such a situation in a highly volatile state, and take immediate, drastic action.
Of course, in a situation where rug-monkeys are sleeping over, I'd probably lock the gun up for the night, just to make sure little paws don't find mischief... but the scene would NOT have been pretty if that had been me. There'd have been one pisser of a scuffle, at the very least.
