Podcasts

So my New Year's resolution was to get after learning Spanish.

I have a couple reasons for wanting to do so.

1) With more and more Spanish speaking people moving into the community, I want to effectively be able to communicate while working with the public.

2) I believe being able to understand and converse in a second language will help me to become more employable.

I've recently discovered http://www.switchpod.com/ for everything from health to music to politics, and now I've realized they have Spanish tutorials updated each week. I think I have just as many podcasts downloaded and grouped on my MP3 player as I have "music".

I know this must mean that I'm some kind of freaky deaky weird, but since there's no actual way to measure just *how* weird, I'm good with it.

So take a look at Switch Pod and see if you find cool stuff you're interested in.

If you're a blogger, consider submitting some of your stuff for a podcast! I'd love to hear you!

You inspired me to do another podcast, I seem to be doing about one a year. Here is my page if you are interested in some idle chit chat with a little music mixed in.

My last few are actually pretty good, especially compared with the first couple I did.
