I decided not to blog about the actual events of the church shootings this past weekend, because you can read it:

However, the two cents that I have to add before it drives me fricking nuts is how the media is spinning the aftermath. Not that I expected anything other than what they are doing, but it’s a sad state of affairs to realize (in the words of my home girl Sophie) that we are
“teaching a generation of people that the right thing to do in any situation is call for help while you cower defenselessly awaiting your fate.”

I live about 10 minutes away from the church, and know several people who go there.
And that while it's people like that talking head on the news that ensures this country is headed straight into the toilet, at least those 7000 people there that day knows what saved them from meeting Jesus early.
