A card from my mom

I opened the envelope and saw little pink flowers with gemstones in the middle.
Then I needed a Kleenex for my cry-snot.

When I look at you,
I not only see a daughter, I see a girl who has become an amazing woman.
When I look at you,
I think of your kindness and compassion and how positively you view the world. I admire how hard you work, yet cherish the child within you who still knows how to play and dream.
When I look at you,
I think of all the great times we’ve shared together and all that we still have to share.
Then handwritten inside:
You’re my heart and you make me proud. I’m so lucky to have a daughter who is a friend for life that loves me so much. I love you. ~Mom
