The other night we were looking at some pics that were taken during our Thanksgiving gathering with my extended family. Looking at one of them I realized that MiniMe was just a smidge TALLER than me in the picture. I don't remember the exact comments made but we were trying to figure out how much of the height was "shoes" and how much was MiniMe. JL got out the tape measure and I held it while he marked her height. Holy Moly, that kid has been taking her Flintstones or something! She's every bit 5'5" and probably not done growing for another year or 18months. In that time if she grows more than half an inch more, she'll be taller than me. I never grew as tall as my mom (5'8"). My dad is tall, too (6'2"), and my brother and sisters are all pretty tall. I wonder if "tall" skipped me and will hit MiniMe. Maybe the "Mini" in "MiniMe" doesn't so much fit.

just a few weeks ago , teen day at the mall . now , not so "teen" . they grow up fast don't they ?

One minute your life is all about tying shoes and wiping noses, the next time you turn arond and they don't want nothing to do with knowing you!

It's happening so fast and that's one reason why I wanted to take a trip with just her. But due to a sudden shift in finances, I have to postpone it.
It'll happen sooner or later...I'm just hoping for "sooner".
