
Ah yes… the great initiation. The first marching performance for the punk freshmen. All the wide eyed looks of “What do we do? Where’s my mark? I can’t do this if real people are watching!”.
Cue thunder.
That fleeting admission in facial expressions of “Oh my God, I just forgot all the notes”.
Cue rain.
Every awkward step, every shoulder bump, every stumble, every start on the wrong foot…all endearing. They’ve come so far in just a couple weeks. They learned all new music and on top of that, learned to march for the first time. It was an achievement they can be proud of.

Yes, well maybe she is very good and will get better. But, she'll always have her Indian name to be proud of too. Good ole Stands-with-a-mad-face.
