Every day you make choices that affect people around you. Maybe it’s a decision at work that will change a schedule and create a conflict for someone else. Maybe it’s a decision at home that changes an event and ultimately gets in the way of someone’s hard earned plan to just relax for the day. Sometimes it can even be as far reaching as posting a comment flippantly somewhere on the vast net. You may not ever know what your words have done because the fact that there is a real person on the other end of your keyboard gets forgotten in your pursuit to triumph in a debate or sway an idea. Every now and then, it’s good to step away from the center and just look at the ripples you’ve created. Even the tiniest pebbles that deceptively seem to matter very little make far reaching rings. Sometimes it's best to just enjoy the glassy calm water where your true reflection can be found in the stillness.
