Remember McKenzie?

Remember the 11 year old who field stripped an AR15, put it back together, and did a function check in under a minute?

Well, here she is at the range. What a shooter!

Nice drill, using the chairs like that.

I wonder if they used snap caps to simulate a misfire?

I can hear them now... "CHILD ABUSE!!!"

My granddaughter is 9.

Hopefully by age 11 she can do as well...

But I draw the line at tactical Tupperware™.

Very cool, she's actually a lot better than some people in my tactical shooting group. If she keeps it up for a few years, she'll definitely be competition level.

I wonder if we can get my department to waive that whole age thing?

Snapcaps or grip problems. looks like the gun was bucking too much. Once taught a big guy how to fix his "terribly jamming" .45. Once he firmed up his wrists, he never had another jam.

But she'll get better as she grows up. If I'd tried that when I was 11, I'd have ended up with the gun smacking me in the forehead, so what do I know... ;)
